From the moment you first interact with us through when you join other Wellsprings Recovery Center patients, we protect your identity and communications at every step of the process. Of course, to benefit from any treatment program, patients must share their thoughts and feelings with their counselors and group session members.
The only people who can see you are the other Wellsprings Recovery Center patients in your group and your Wellsprings Recovery Center counselor. Wellsprings Recovery Center’s patients may develop tight bonds through their shared experience in group sessions together, and of course, your Wellsprings Recovery Center counselor needs to get to know you and vice-versa.

Wellsprings Recovery Center ’s video conference system is encrypted using 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), the global standard for data encryption. This is the same level of protection used for all major commerce online, including retail and financial transactions. This encryption ensures that even if someone were able to intercept video from a therapy session, they would be unable to see or hear it. Wellsprings Recovery Center does not record therapy sessions.
No. As a Wellsprings Recovery Center client, you also have a responsibility to keep confidential what you see and hear in group. Wellsprings Recovery Center’s patients agree to be legally bound to keep their home space and computer equipment safe for the entire group. In some cases, for example when a Wellsprings Recovery Center client does an individual therapy session in which having family participation may be determined to be therapeutic by both the patient and the Wellsprings Recovery Center’s counselor, special written permission is required to someone else into the session.
Wellsprings Recovery Center patients and counselors communicate using Wellsprings Recovery Center ’s HIPAA-compliant email system. Normal email is not encrypted, but Wellsprings Recovery Center ’s email system is encrypted and certified HIPAA-compliant.
